About Launch
The Launch Scholarship Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that awards scholarships to Western Heights students pursuing higher education.
Many factors affect how students arrive at the start of college life. But what can prevent them from “taking flight” is often the same reason: the numerous expenses that emerge before that first semester even begins. That’s why our vision is to fund ancillary expenses not typically covered by scholarships, for example, books, technology, supplies, and transportation costs.

Our Story and Values
Our founders are all WHHS alumni who were propelled by the guidance and encouragement from our teachers. They helped us navigate past obstacles as we pursued our dreams of attending college. We all were the first ones in our families to go to college, and we wondered how in the world we’d ever get from point A to point B. Inspired by the faith our teachers instilled in us, we started the Launch Scholarship Fund to help current college-bound Jets.
